Bentonville Film Festival Returns for Its 11th Year

The Bentonville Film Festival, chaired by Academy Award winner Geena Davis, is underway from June 16-22, 2025, in Bentonville. This 11th annual event celebrates diversity with 28 competition films, including 9 world premieres, and a new Homegrown section spotlighting Arkansas filmmakers. Highlights include outdoor screenings at the Geena Davis Outdoor Theater, panels, and a special storytime with Sesame Street’s Elmo and Geena Davis on June 21 at 11:30 AM, reading The Girl Who Was Too Big for the Page. With over 15,000 attendees expected, this festival is a cultural cornerstone for NWA, fostering community and creativity.

Razorbacks Win Again! Razorbacks Defeat UCLA to Stay Alive in CWS.
Arkansas defeated UCLA Tuesday afternoon to stay alive and move on to play LSU again tonight at 6:00 PM. Losing game 1 in the Men’s College World Series turns the odds of winning it all against you. However, after a disappointing first game loss against LSU the Hogs have regained their dominance.
On Monday Gage Wood pitched the a no hitter for just the third time in College World Series history. With one of the most dominant pitching performances in college baseball recent history, Wood delivered strikeouts and a victory for the Razorbacks
The Razorbacks move on to play LSU again in tonight’s rematch at 6:00 PM. Arkansas must defeat LSU two times to advance whereas LSU only needs one more victory.
