Greenwood Community Celebrates Miss Arkansas 2025
The Greenwood community is overflowing with excitement as they prepare to welcome home Kennedy Holland, the new Miss Arkansas 2025! This 20-year-old junior at the University of Central Arkansas, majoring in communication with a minor in special education, captivated judges with her stunning vocal rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water," earning over $36,000 in scholarships. Her nonprofit, Compassion Legacy, champions inclusive playgrounds, spreading accessibility and kindness throughout the state.
Join the festivities at a special homecoming event from 2-4 p.m. on July 27 at The Loft at Stone Oak, 3411 Old Chismville Place in Greenwood. Dress in your Sunday best and boots for a touch of southern charm, as families and friends gather to cheer on this local gem. "I'm so excited to represent the Miss Arkansas organization in the state of Arkansas over the next year," Holland shared, capturing the heartfelt enthusiasm.
